Prague-
August 23, 2008 - Every year Noubikko
celebrates birthday his traditional way, but not on his 50th. To his surprise
it was the opposite. When he arrived at the Prague International airport
preparing for a trip to Holland his American corporate
partner, Giulliano Russelli showed up and whisk him on a private plane to a place
near the Baltic Sea in Riga, Latvia. He celebrated
his birthday with some of his closest friends, clients and confidants.
Traditionally,
Noubikko spends birthdays alone in a place he has never visited. Birthdays are
supposed to be spent alone, he said. They are the perfect time to recollect the
past and count your blessings.. At the end of the day you feel recharged and ready
for the next year, he added.
"I am shocked and extremely happy to see all of you" Noubikkowho is
founder of the company said to the guests. The
gathering was arranged by Russelli, one time top fashion model turned CEO when
Noubikko announced his retirement in 2003. Russelli is known for throwing lavish
parties during the designer's hay days in the early 90's in Seattle. Russelli
said this gathering is worth celebrating with special touch. Russeli has not organized
any party of this kind since the designer left his position with the company five
years ago.
At the height of the party, Noubikko announced
that he will help build its network again. The company had experienced steep slide
from it royalties since the last five years because of the global economic crisis.
Its time to hold each others grip firmly until all these setback is over, he said.
The party was a big applause for Russelli.
Noubikko left early
on the 24th morning for his usual birthday escapade and spent his traditional
way somewhere in Slovakia. The pilot who brought the designer to Bratislava, capital
of Slovakia said Noubikko attended Catholic church service and thereafter he was
nowhere to be seen.
Later part of the week Noubikko celebrated a gathering
with his brothers with Knights of Rizal, where he serves as the head in Prague
and the Deputy head for the Czech Republic.
